ประกาศออกมาแล้วสำหรับรายชื่อเกมที่เข้าชิงรางวัลสาขาต่าง ๆ ประจำปี 2021 ของ The Game Awards งานประกาศรางวัลเกมยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี เปรียบเสมือนรางวัลออสการ์แห่งวงการวิดีโอเกม โดยปีนี้ Xbox นำทัพสตูดิโอเกมเข้าชิงกว่า 20 รางวัล
Geoff Keighley พิธีกรและผู้จัดงาน The Game Awards 2021 ได้ออกมาประกาศรายชื่อเกมที่เข้าชิงรางวัลยอดเยี่ยมประจำปีนี้สาขาต่าง ๆ ผ่านไลฟ์สตรีมเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว โดยมีกำหนดจัดงานในวันที่ 9 ธันวาคมตามเวลาท้องถิ่นของประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา และที่พิเศษคือ งานปีนี้จะมีช่วง World Premiere คั่นรายการแบบจัดเต็มถึง 40 เกม
