It Takes Two เกมผจญภัยกระชับความสัมพันธ์ แนว co-op แบบเล่นสองคนช่วยกันของ Hazelight Studios จากสวีเดน ได้รับรางวัล Game of the Year หรือ เกมยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี 2021 จากเวที The Game Awards 2021 ซึ่งเปรียบเสมือนรางวัล “ออสก้าร์” ของวิดีโอเกม จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 9 ธันวาคมที่ผ่านมา ณ Microsoft Theater นครลอส แองเจลีส ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา
Game of the Year เป็นรางวัลที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของรายการดังกล่าวโดยพิจารณาจากการลงคะแนนเสียงของคณะกรรมการตัดสิน 90 เปอร์เซ็นต์ และผลโหวตออนไลน์ของประชาชนทั่วไปอีก 10 เปอร์เซ็นต์ โดย It Takes Two ได้รับคะแนนสูงสุดเหนือเกมเข้าชิงที่เหลือได้แก่ Deathloop, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart และ Resident Evil Village
นอกจาก It Takes Two ยังได้รับรางวัล Best multiplayer หรือ เกมผู้เล่นหลายคนยอดเยี่ยม อีกหนึ่งรางวัลด้วย
